ISA Adult First checks can be requested by any applicant who is going to work within the care industry, where their employer is require by law to check the ISA Adult First list. An ISA Adult First check with will normally be received within 24 hours of the CRB receiving the initial application form.

Please be aware that an ISA Adult First check will only show if the applicant is barred from working with the vulnerable it is NOT a detailed list of any convictions that the applicant may have. 

To request an ISA Adult First check on any of your applicants you can either:

(a) Indicate that you require an ISA Adult First check on your form by writing ISA on the top right hand corner of the form.

(b) Request an ISA Adult First check once the form has been submitted by calling into the office.
