About ProCRB
ProCRB is part of the Domestic Tax group of services offering thousands of clients professional services from Accountacy to HR Advice and of course CRB background checks.
ProCRB is dedicated to offering a professional service so you will find you deal with a pleasant pro active account manager whenever you call into our office. Our client base is a mix of different organisations, however we find that we attract larger organisations by being able to offer good credit facilities and acurate timely invoicing.
The Domestic Tax group was started in May 2001 by Graham Newton who still actively manages the operation now and is based at the Surbiton office. ProCRB came into existence as we felt there was a gap in the market for a professional, competitively priced CRB checking service.
Since opening its doors to business ProCRB has processed tens of thousands of CRB forms and we have developed a great relationship with the CRB.
One of the big differences between ProCRB and other CRB bureaus is that we do not charge hidden or ongoing fee's, just pay for each form that you submit through us.

We charge a £6.09 plus VAT (total £7.30 inc. VAT) administration charge per CRB check.

The ProCRB service has been specificially designed to help professional clients who require a professional service to match. We offer both paper and electronic forms and good client credit facilities with timely VAT invoicing for your accounts.
Paper Forms
Many of our clients prefer to submit CRB applications to us in paper format. ProCRB can still support this method for your account or even a mix of paper and electronic applcations.
Our fees remain the same for either paper or electronic forms but it is generally considered that electroinc forms are less prone to error or postal delays.
Electronic Forms
By using a link from our website you are taken to your secure password protected area of our website. This area lets you view all of your past form submissions and your current submissions progress with the CRB.
ProCRB's record turnaround time for an Enhanced CRB is 8 seconds! Thats the working time taken from form submission to a full result back to our client!
Financial
Professional clients need professional invoicing so ProCRB will support you with this.
Larger clients will have access to Pay on Account facilities with smaller organisations electing to provide debit card details to take payment from as applications arrive with us.
Every client will receive an account statement and invoice at the end of each month showing all activity and full VAT details.

Many of our clients have chosen to use our electronic CRB system due to it's ease of use, speedy results and low margin for error.
If you would like to register to use this system please call us on 08454 66 22 44 and we will email you the registration information. You then just need to return to us the completed code of practice and billing details and we will activate your account for immediate use.
As we do not charge any set-up or ongoing fee's there is no harm in trying us out, you only pay for what you use, so what have you got to lose?
From inside the electronic system you also have records of when you have completed CRB checks and who they have been completed on, this often helps reduce your admin time as well.

Do not forget that anybody who has access to your username and password has access to all of your CRB checks. Make sure that you keep them safe, if you are in any doubt over the security of your account please change your password immediately.
New passwords are sent to your registered email address, if you have concerns over the security of your email account please call us so that we can change it for you. Please be advised that only the main contact on the account can do this as you will be required to go through security with us.
